I visited the Lubao bamboo hub and eco-park today with my cousins. We decided to go out as we will going to clean our family mausoleum in the cemetery after this. Going back, this place has only a 20 pesos entrance fee, which is very affordable. I love the vibes that the bamboo trees giving, its sounds whenever winds blowing them is like a heaven on my ears.
Nature is my therapy. These are some of my favorite spots here in eco-park. This is so relaxing and refreshing. I really love the vibe that it gives me. Eating some snacks here with good company is what I just need after a very tiring week of mine.
Chill spot? This is the best spot for me. You’re not just looking at the bamboos here, you can also try to ride a boat here at a very affordable price. The silence of being here on the riverside is everything. You will just hear the bamboos and the water and watch the sunset. Well, I love sunsets. I love everything about nature. This is my safe place, my therapy, and what I am looking for when I want that “me time” to think and reflect. Just go into nature, and it will make you feel so alive.
Our last stop for today was the cemetery, where our loved ones were. This is our family routine before November 1, and we make sure that we will clean and prepare in our mausoleum. Undas is not just lighting a candle and giving flowers to our loved ones tomb but we are staying longer here with the whole family. Like a mini-reunion, yet with the pain and sadness that remain. My grandfather and my aunt, who just died last January were here, and you know it was still fresh for us. Whenever I light a candle and have a prayer, I can’t help it but to cry. It’s true that you will not move on from the pain, you will just learn to live with it. So, if I give you the last words for this day, I’m going to say that you should enjoy and cherish every moment. Let people around us feel our love and care.
